How do you perceive and think about failure? What is it? What does it look like? What are the characteristics of failure…and how does it impact your life?

In today’s society that demands instant results and glorifies “perfection”, too much is made of failure, mostly because of it’s impact on the ego. One of the great fertilizers of fear is the concept that failure is “bad”, or in some cases “noble”.

All too often, people treat fear like a terminal illness; as if one (or many) defeats somehow marks them for a life doomed to disappointment. On the other side, the self-indulgent martyr might be tempted to grovel publicly about every small setback in an attempt to gain acknowledgment from an enabling environment.

But in neither case is failure being used as a lever for momentum, or a weapon of mass production and high-performance.

Join JT for a no-hold-barred discussion on the power of failure and why reexamining its value and importance can be a game-changer in your business and life.
