Everyone from the unknown housewife to the most famous celebrities have a slot on a media network airing their dirty laundry or their life challenges. Talk shows such as Maury Povich and Jerry Springer are glamorizing paternity cases and cheating lovers, capitalizing on the gritty and dirty little secrets of the American family. Unfortunately, the majority of these guests are African-American. Is this yet another strike on the projected image of Black culture?
