Another discussion straight out of the Parenting Chronicles...we've touched on the many severe changes in today's society that our youth are facing. Government interference, media images, reality TV shows, racism, etc. Another change in society is the liberation of non-traditional lifestyles which include polygamous, open/swinging, and same-sex marriages. Can the diversion from "traditional" relationships as we have always known them be a factor in the way our youth grow up? Are these factors cultivating more broadened acceptance of others, or more negatively affecting them,?
