"Roots: The Now Generation-Are We Heading Back Into The Chains?"

Racism on our sports disciplinary boards. Food stamps targeted to be cut...AGAIN. Black men and women being openly killed by law enforcement officials and those who get to play law-enforcement offciials. Judges ordering name changes on babies because the mother picked a name they felt was too royal for the baby. Government being shut down before they will allow a healthcare for Black people law be passed.

These are just a few things to be dissected under a microscope. Some of the things that are targeted, removed, reduced or illegalized are things that help the Afirican-AMerican and minority communities to function and get a hand up while trying to get back on their feet. Others affect the mortality rate or the freedom of said communities, or even scarier yet...the fundamental absolute right to exist as a human being.  In the case of the biblical Noah's Ark, he built a vessel around a group of people who laughed in his face when he tried to warn them of the rains to come. He remained silent  when they rejected him and let the people around him destroy themselves while knowing that he would be safe when the floods came. Are we as an African-AMerican community laughing in the face of the outsiders while they're practically telling you that  we are about to be shut down...again?
