A Queens elemntary school has attempted to ban its tudents from using Malcolm X as a subject for a Black History month project. We have already touched on Jay-Z's controversial dealings with a blatantly racist department store, and now Beyonce has been scrutinzed for her performance at the Grammy's after years of being conditioned by the entertainment industry to put forth a super-sexual image to capture an audience. Taking into account all of our concerns with outside obstacles, have our African-American success icons been conditioned to be the biggest weapon of destruction to our community?
