Gregory Horn--a father who spanked his young daughters for promoting sexual videos of themselves on social media--was arrested, jailed and had his children taken from him because he posted the discipline on social media in an effort to let the world know that he was not a father who allowed such behavior from his daughters. The government argued that he inflicted severe abuse on his girls and he left "marks".
Yet, nineteen US states currently have a spanking protocol in place in their schools, and yet another bill is tyring to get passed to allow all schools to do so, upping the ante to allow teachers to strike their students up to TEN times, and with brutal force that may...wait for it...LEAVE MARKS! on your child! It's no secret that the age-old "village" it takes to raise a child has been eradicated from today's society, but is this a positive move toward restructuring that village? Or is this another case of wrongful governmental interference in the family home?
