An 8-year-old get punched by a grown stranger and robbed the child of his iPad. A good Samaritan chased the man down and held him until the police arrived. Lo and behold, the police reveal that the perpetrator is a SIXTY-TIME repeat offender! What happened to the perp in this case? He was released! The perpetrator...a white male that has been arrested for similar and worse crimes by the police 60 times before. Black children are beign suspended from schools at a disproportionate rate compared to white students.  We count on our Black leaders, those elected into a political position, or elected into mass-attention positions by popularity and iconic support to roll up their sleeves and fight the good fight on our behalf, but it seems more than ever...our leaders/representatives are MIA...either because they are involved in scandals, cashing in on for-profit venutres that serve no benefit to the communities they "represent", or they ARE the scandal that enabl.e outsiders to continue to infilltrate their posion into our community for for annihilation How do we begin to even the playing fields? Join us tonight to continue our discussion on this matter and suggest solutions.
