Continuing our discussion on the smokescreens of the Baltimore riots...we addressed the cover-up smokscreens in Part One. The tactics used to distract the public away from the real problem by dangling other entertainment factors or shock value occurrences on the front page. Tonight, we examine the other side of the smokescreen fence--the token gestures made by the politicians, leaders, and legal system. The National Guard is moving out, the city of Batimore is prosecuting the cops for murder, and positive news stories of businesses rebuilding after being looted or bombed are splashed across our screens. Are these true attempts at genuine concern? Or are these simply pacifiers to make the protests come to an end? Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST by calling 347-327-9967 with your thoughts.
