Continuing our series on the damages done to families when the government interferes with parenting..
Several protocols have been implemented in our school system that have been justified as necessary for children whose well-being is in jeopardy. Guidance counselors and other staff members check attendance and assess behavior among other things, and they then come to conclusions that a parent must be questioned or investigated to get to the bottom of an extended absence or a behavior. Oftentimes, attendance is affected due to the massive rise of health afflictions in children, and behavior that is typical of the age of the parties exhibiting it. Yet, to compensate for the lack of interest or solutions to get to the bottom of it, the parents are the default pincushions, and the go-to method is to involve law enforcement or child protective services. Is school interference in parenting beneficial to our children, or are they simply the equivalent of a nosy neighbor? Tune in tonight at 9 pm EST by calling 347-327-9967
