So much has happened in the past four months since the onset of the killer beast we know as COVID-19. After all of the hash-slinging, the partisan battles, the conspiracy theories, the racism wars, and the lockdowns, we find that the virus has returned with a vengeance. No longer is it just the elderly dying on the tables, but the virus is now claiming much younger lives and still spreading like wildfire. And while experts and politicians still haven't met a solid treatment or answer to this virus, the plan to reopen schools this fall is being aggressively pushed forward. Teachers, students and parents alike are split i their feelings about this decision, and this is yet another platform where children's voices are not being heard on the matter of COVID.
