Dave Feldman has been CEO of Livability Project LLC since it was incorporated as a Maryland company in 2007. Late that year, Livability Project was awarded a contract to make Bethesda, Maryland a model sustainable community promoting energy efficiency, recycling and a community-wide environmental ethic. By late 2008, the Bethesda Green initiative had grown and Dave became a full-time Executive Director. In 2009, Dave was named one of “The 25 CEOs You Need to Know” by The Gazette of Politics and Business and as “Innovator of the Year” by The Daily Record.  In 2010, the Montgomery County Council named him one of the “40 Environmentalists in 40 Years”.

In addition to his full-time role at Bethesda Green, Dave’s ongoing work at the Livability Project has led to the creation of The Livability FrameworkTM, a model, which can be used as a tool to help all communities achieve their sustainability goals. Dave’s objective is to replicate this model of sustainability in other communities nationwide.
