Robert Goldman has been President of Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) for the 
past 13 years and has also worked in housing policy on both the federal and local levels. 
 
MHP creates quality affordable homes. It accomplishes its affordable housing mission by housing 
people, empowering families, and strengthening neighborhoods. Through its 
affiliates, MHP has developed almost 1,400 units of affordable housing around the county, 
including in transit-oriented neighborhoods in Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Rockville and 
Wheaton. 
 
Goldman has served on the Wheaton Redevelopment Steering Committee and the Long Branch 
Task Force. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Housing Association of Nonprofit 
Developers (HAND) and the Maryland Asset Building and Community Development (ABCD) 
Network; and a past board member of the Maryland Affordable Housing Coalition (MAHC).
