STEPHEN (‘STEVE’) SHAFF
Stephen Shaff is an Idealist, realist, community organizer, political activist, and social entrepreneur who has developed a community-change model driven by profit but motivated by an unrelenting desire for serious, transformative change for the Common Good.
During the ‘Great Recession” he founded Community-Vision Partners – a benefit LLC with a mission to initiative, facilitate and agitate for the common good. C-VP is active in bridging social enterprise with community and political organizing in order to build out a more socially-just and environmentally safer New Economy.
A major project of C-VP was the co-founding and development of the Chesapeake Sustainable Business Council – a business led advocacy organization with a goal to leverage savvy social enterprise to promote environmental, economic and social justice change. In addition to co-founding CSBC he serves as its Executive Director and is here today in behalf of CSBC.
