Through Life Experiences, college courses and training in Behavioral Therapy, Addictions Counseling,Theology, and. Kelvin Manurs has reformatted the program Arm & Arm to address The Returning Citizen from Incarceration and Veterans, and uses an empathic approach to help these individuals, to see how unhealthy and irrational past choices have led to undesired consequences today. The program consists of Open Topic Discussion Groups, Cognitive Behavioral Workshops and Maintenance Groups to offer continued support to individuals as they begin new chapters in their lives that include family relationships, work relationships and community involvement. Arm & Arm is currently running weekly in Arlington, Virginia and Fairfax, Virginia, with much success.

Arm & Arm's mission is to empower individuals returning home from incarceration with tools that will enable them to make rational evaluations of themselves, their situations, and their circumstances, and then make healthy and
proactive decisions, as they navigate their way back into society.
