Nkenge is the founder and Child Development Specialist of Learning How, Inc. She brings more than 17 years of diverse experience in childcare. Her passion for connecting with students, families, and staff, has allowed her to excel in training as well as family engagement. Compassionate and mission-driven guidance balances two of Nkenge’s primary goals, which are to help those around her reach their highest potential, providing direction along the way while she advocates for high-quality early childhood education. Based on her experience, Nkenge believes it is a conduit for sustainable change when it occurs in conjunction with family support. Nkenge received her Associates degree in Special Education and later pursued her Psychology Bachelors of Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County which she’s used to increase understanding and communication with the people she interacts with daily. In the last two years, shes had tremendous opportunities interning in Baltimore City Schools which has inspired to write children’s books for students who dislike reading.
