Whether you have a mortgage or not, your house is YOU!  Who you allow to enter your house affects the happiness of it.  Yes she seemed nice, He was so handome, She's always saving stray animals!  The attributes can abound, but most of us have encounted chat rooms, dicussion forums, classrooms where people "love you!" or "pray for you," or seem like the best deal in relationships going at first look.  The point is, sometimes a second look is warranted especially when something say or "does not matche with the other."  Remember that game on Sesame Street?  One of these things does not go with the other where they'd show you a bunch of fruit and vegetables and a shoe. (In case you don't the shoe didn't go with the others at least not in an elementary type relativity).  You've met the most gorgeous guy/girl, they drive the best car, work for a local hunger group to get food to needy people.  Of course you can bring her or him into your house right?  Well....remember that time you were out to dinner and he/she got a phone call and seemed immediately distracted?  You tried to inquire while they were trying to text (yes during your date) and they Snapped at you harshly and strongly to "Shut up!" then went back to texting. When they were finished they looked up at you and simply said something like "what were your saying?" or "I'm sorry, I needed to take that."  You ignored that strange erruption even though all the people in the restaurant didn't.  She/He's sooooo nice that you come up with your own excusses for how he/she acted.  This is what I would call signs of the rubberband snapping. Join me on Tuesday to learn about protecting your house and what I call my rubberband theory of relationships.  Live with Brilliance, because it lives within you!
