Carlos Figueredo studied at Northwestern University’s School of Music.  An extraordinarily talented and gifted tenor, Carlos went to Germany at a very young age with a contract to sing in a major opera house.  His career came to an abrupt halt when he was faced with a sudden life-threatening health crisis.  His journey back to health, his courage, vulnerability, strength and resiliency after surviving a cancerous brain tumor, surgery, and resulting traumatic brain injury is truly inspiring.  His story of long recovery and self-reinvention is remarkable. It is an honor to have Carlos Figueredo as my guest on today’s show.
