Undivided focuses on societal divisions and breaking down those barriers to unify people. This episode will look at what a "true man" is in society. The societal perception of men has been largely negative in recent years. We will look at the Jungian archetypes of masculinity to delve deeper into the root cause of the societal view of men.
The episode will explain how men can explore their interests, connect with a life purpose, and impact the world around them in peace, harmony, and positivity. My special guest for this topic will be Rick Harrigan.
Rick Harrigan is a career and life-purpose coach who is dedicated to helping men reclaim their power, reignite their passion and rediscover their purpose so that they can rejuvenate their lives and careers.
Rick was born and raised in Metuchen, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University and graduated magna cum laude in 1996. Following college, he packed his car and drove west to Los Angeles where he spent 20 years in media sales and business development building a very “successful” career. Beneath the corporate facade, however, he was feeling disenchanted and disconnected from his true self. Finally, a few years ago, Rick underwent a deep spiritual awakening and facilitated a radical reinvention of his life and career. He followed his passion and moved to Colorado to become a career coach and help other men through mid-life career and life change to help ensure that they too enjoy a mid-life awakening rather than a midlife crisis.
Rick is now joyfully residing in Littleton, Colorado with his wife of 15 years and his 10 year-old daughter. He can often be found coaching, woodworking, hiking and generally living the dream
