Undivided is a podcast series that focuses on breaking down societal barriers and shifting mindsets to one of harmony and unity. This episode will look at the American society and the inability to truly understand disabilities of all types and to misunderstand the people impacted by disabilities.
The special guest for this episode will be Cara Sachs. Cara works with clients with chronic illness to help them to lead fulfilled lives. She earned her B.A. in Psychology (Summa Cum Laude), and two certifications from iPEC: Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and ELI-MP. Ms. Sachs also studied and worked as an American Sign Language/English interpreter, and as a Peer Advocate Counselor for a disability rights organization.
Cara is passionate about helping those with chronic illness because she has experience personally with several major chronic illnesses. She has developed an approach which empowers her clients to understand the physical impact of their thoughts. Cara lives in Vermont and can be reached at www.carasachs.com for more information.
Frank J. Maduri is the Host of Undivided and is also a (CPC) ELI-MP, and a freelance writer and journalist. He has news publishing credits in numerous areas distributed to 40 countries.
