The Succulent Source is one of the top distributors of succulents in the entire nation. The San Diego-based company is comprised of Lora and Darren Irwin and their five sons under the age of 13, plus newly adopted two year-old daughter. They supply to Wal-Mart, Home Depot and the Magnolia Marketplace, among others.

Due to COVID-19, they lost over half of their accounts within the span of a few days through cancelled weddings and other events and pivoted to making a growing series of DIY succulent garden kits for children out of school and their families (and anyone else who likes a good DIY project). Though on a far smaller level, they're finding instant success with these kits and are now expanding to create new ones. This rugged and loving family are survivors who will continue to flex and grow throughout this challenging time. Today, Darren, Lora and I discuss how you might creatively shift to find new ways to deliver your gifts and talents into the market place. www.thesucculentsource.com
