From an early age, Dallas-native IMAJ knew he was destined to make a musical impact on the world. Born LaDarrion Darnell and the oldest of six kids, IMAJ began honing his craft at the age of 12. The multitalented threat was exposed to soul music often when going to church with his grandfather. Sharing a bed and a bedroom with his younger brother, he used music as an escape. His inspiration comes from the likes of Michael Jackson, Static Major, and Tank.
