Johnson Co Animal Shelter

It is very concerning to me when an outside organization would have to come in and rescue and save the lives of animals from a County Animal Shelter.

In my opinion, Cross Your Paws Rescue has made a good case for the public to be concerned and more action needs to be taken. Our county officials should look at all the evidence this organization has gathered and take the necessary steps and action needed to improve the Johnson County Animal Shelter. 

This seems to me like a valuable resource to me that the county needs. So, it is my hope that those involved who can make change happen at least hear and look at the evidence Cross Your Paws Rescue has gathered.

I've seen the pictures, the video and heard the ladies who witnessed the inhumane conductions of the animals at the JCAS. They were compassionate, caring and simply put - heartbroken - not just for the animals, but for the way they were treated at the facility and county workers.
