Where do you turn when hope seems to be dying? Frodo in Lord of the Rings???

I just recently watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy and I was struck by the symbolism in this movie to my life and how much like Frodo I felt. No, I'm not wearing an evil ring around my throat but I am dealing with some pretty big life issues that feel like an oppressive ring. The journey Frodo is taking and the changes and obstacles in his life strike a chord with me and I am sure with many people today. So let's talk about the human spirit....or hobbit's spirit.....when the chips are down, hope seems lost, and getting through the day is imperative. How do we do it? How do we keep ourselves moving forward? And can hope recover in our lives?
