John Register is a United States Paralympic Long Jump Silver Medalist; Gulf War Army Veteran and Inspirational Speaker.  John is 4-time track and field all American; and, a 2-time Olympic trials qualifier who suffered a sports career-ending injury. John advised two US Secretaries of State, been featured on numerous television shows, and found the United States Olympic Committees Paralympic Military Sports program which helps wounded, ill and injured service members use sports as a tool for their rehabilitation. In his SPARE time, he enjoys PUSHING his patience as he coaches teenagers in track and field, PUSHING his bicycle – up the long “hills” in Colorado; And PUNISHING his family’s eardrums as he relearns to play the cello (pronounced CHELLOW).
