After reading the book ACRES OF DIAMONDS by Russell Conwell, I am convinced we are all leaving the diamond mines in our own back yards as we travel around the world looking for larger diamonds, when in fact the diamonds we seek are found within us and our hometown, from whence we came. Therefore, we are calling the podcast, #IAMRIVIERABEACH. #RIVIERABEACHPRIDE

Our guest is Debrah Hall-McCullon was born and raised in Riviera Beach. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in journalism. She began freelance writing and marketing in 2005 where she started the South Florida Gospel News and Next Level Productionz. Debrah worked for a number of local and national business entities. In January 2020, she released the first volume in her series of books, Riviera Beach Moments, which was #1 on Amazon’s Best Seller’s Lists for historiography.Debrah owns the Florida Black Sports Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization that honors some of Florida’s greatest sports legends. She also owns the Pitmasters Association, an organization where pit masters are able to receive their certification. Debrah sits on a number of community service boards and has worked for the City of Riviera Beach for 22 years. Debrah can be reached at
