After reading the book ACRES OF DIAMONDS by Russell Conwell, I am convinced we are all leaving the diamond mines in our own backyards as we travel around the world looking for larger diamonds, when in fact the diamonds we seek are found within us and our hometown, from whence we came. Therefore, we are calling the podcast, #IAMRIVIERABEACH.
Today's Guest: Dale Holness

Dale V.C. Holness (born April 2, 1957) is a Democratic American politician who has served the City of Lauderhill and Broward County, Florida for over 17 years combined. Dale also has 30 years of professional experience as a real estate broker and business owner.

At an early age, Dale demonstrated his affinity for politics as a volunteer, organizing grassroots efforts for Jesse Jackson’s presidential race. After graduating from Plantation High School in 1975, he went on to Broward College and served as a student government freshman senator. At age 20, Dale became a general manager at McDonald’s and, by age 22, purchased his first home. In 1983, he became a realtor to service the demands and overcome the challenges he observed in access to homeownership throughout minority communities. He excelled as an agent and established All Broward Realty in 1988 as a broker with over 80 agents, equipped with a mortgage division, completing over 500 transactions per year. At its height, his firm ranked among the top 10 across South Florida and was ranked the largest/best Black-owned real estate organization throughout the state.
