Youth Creation Community Outreach was founded by husband and wife, Reamer and Sudan Muhammad, in 1999. They would go to shelters in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and serve hot soup, sandwiches, juice, donated shoes and clothing. Eventually children in their neighborhood would help serve as a way to stay out of trouble. In 2004, Bedside Harp was added to their program. Their eldest daughter, Indigo Bleu began to play at hospitals and nursing homes. In the past year their three younger daughters would pick up the harp and help their sister in aiding those that are sick and in need of healing.  The Harp is a healing instrument that repairs damaged cells in the body. 
In February of this year they introduced Youth Creation Community Outreach Magazine to their repertoire as a means to focus on others that are doing positive things to better their community. It is their goal to network with other non profit organizations to help those in need on a larger mass
