Jermia White A Beautiful Intelligent Woman Defines Her Disability Beautifully

First Hour: Jermia White is a beautiful-young intelligent woman who defines having a So-called disability beautifully! She was born with SMA Spinal Muscular Astrophy but that has not stop her from achieving remarkable accomplishments. Jermia White A native of Dallas, TX, Jermia White entered the world and it appeared that she would have a typical normal life like most people, but low and behold she was in the fight of her life. At the age of two doctors identified an affliction, Spinal Muscular Atrophy II, that would make her years on Earth brief, but God said no and with the strength of her parents, she proved the doctors wrong. Since then she hasn’t looked back and continues to lead an exceptional life against the odds. When it comes to reaching goals in life some of us choose to shy away, politely bow out or allow what may appear to be impossible defeat us. Jermia chooses to say, “I am not in the position to say that I am a Heisman Trophy winner, All-American or even State Champ, but I stand as a champion in my own arena.” Being born physically challenged, people didn’t really expect her to accomplish many things in life. In fact, they didn’t expect her to be as gregarious as she is, but determined to beat the odds at a very young age, she surprised many by out-performing my peers. Jermia found her love for sports at a young age. High School and college enabled her to pursue a career in sports media. She’s gone from basketball manager in high school to associate producer and sometimes technical director live.
