Tarana Burke the creator of the MeToo movement started in 2007, said her campaign to speak out against sexual misconduct was born out of a conversation she had with a 13 year old girl in 1997. The girls story left Ms Burke speechless and without an answer to give. Ms Burke said it bothered her for many years that should could not even respond "me too". Amid the media storm and the unearthing of this very real topic my thoughts turn to the women who are still suffering in silence, who may not feel free to share their "Me Too" story. Thoughts of our ancestors who we carry with us that carried their secrets to their graves. Are you a Me Too? Have you been triggered in any kind of way? Are you still suffering in silence? Sista To Sista: Free Talk Friday......let's talk about it!
