Released 50 years ago, the infamous report found that poverty and institutional racism were driving inner-sity violance. President Lyndon Johnson constituted the Kerner Report Commision to identify the greastest problem of the violent riot in 1967 riots that killed 43 in Detroit, and 26 in New Wark while causing fewer casualties in 23 other cities. Pent up anger was boiling over amoung many african americans neighborhoods during rhe mid to late 1960's setting off riots from block to block Burning, Battering and ransacking, property, raging crowds created chaos in which some neighborhoods residents and law inforcements operatives endured shockingly random injuries and even death. Many americans blamed the riots on outside aggitators or young black folk. DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?????
