Tim Fiore, committee chair of the Institute for Supply Management's Manufacturing Report on Business(R) speaks to hosts Lew Weiss and Tim Grady about the latest Purchasing Manager's Index report and the components that roll up to a number of 60.8 and includes New Orders, Production, Employment, Supplier Deliveries and Inventories equally rated at 20% each. Subtracting Inventories from New Orders gives an indication of the strength of manufacturing: 5 or above indicates strength; below 5 shows weakening.  Hear the nuances in these numbers in this interview.
