Stephen Sideroff, PhD

In my book and my interviews I share the health impact of chronic stress while recognizing the importance of the stress response in the pursuit of success, leading to an interesting paradox. My approach offers solutions including a new model of resilience and the new notion of "Bouncing Forward" rather than resilience as being bouncing back.

Dr. Stephen Sideroff is an internationally recognized psychologist, executive and medical consultant and expert in resilience, longevity, optimal performance, addiction, neurofeedback, and mental health.  He has published pioneering research in these fields.

He is an associate professor in the departments of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences and Rheumatology at UCLA’s Geffen School of Medicine. He was the founder & former Clinical Director of the Stress Strategies program of UCLA/Santa Monica Hospital and former Clinical Director of Moonview Treatment and Optimal Performance Center.

His new book is, “The 9 Pillars of Resilience: The Proven Path to Master Stress, Slow Aging and Increase Vitality”.
