Today we celebrate Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s achievements and his theory that a group could peacefully protest without resulting in violence. On the show today, we will discuss the history of a country that has thrived on violence during protests. We often respond to the physical harm to others and property damage during and after the rally. Instead, shouldn't we try to identify the circumstances that point to the possibility of violence and work to keep our protests civil.
