Today's guest: Cheri Redgrave

Cheri Redgrave has experienced a lifetime of adventures. She grew up on a small ranch in Oregon. After completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon she moved to Los Angeles. During the day she was a software developer, at night a classical musician. While there she attended U.S.C., where she completed a master’s degree. She participated in the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics and performed for Pope John Paul 2. Returning to Oregon, she became involved with community theater for 10 years, directing seven musicals and conducting all of them. She created a television series and unsuccessfully pitched it in Los Angeles. She is currently reimagining it as a radio drama. She has a children’s picture book A Cat For A Hat. But her biggest adventure is the latest one. She was diagnosed with allergies to wheat, dairy, eggs, and peas. Driven to turn her angst into an adventure, she began redeveloping all the recipes that she had enjoyed her entire life. Hitting a road-block with dairy, she and her husband created a new dairy free milk made from Oregon hazelnuts. It is now available online in the US and in stores in Oregon. Cheri lives in Bend Oregon with her husband Chris and two bouncing boxers: Walter and Maggie.
