"This is part of my new 6-part ecourse 'Resilience Mindset'. Managing Adversity With Resilience Mindset.

“Without obstacles we never would know the true meaning of success or feel the exaltation of triumph over adversity", book 'The Audacity of Veracity', page 15.

Adversity is defined as “a condition marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress.”  While no one enjoys experiencing adverse circumstances, adversity can play a significant role in personal growth and development by aiding in the generation of critical skills and knowledge. In this way, adversity can prove to be one of the greatest gifts and learning to embrace it can result in several benefits.

Adversity, after all, is part of our lives. With the current disruption around the world, all of us are facing adversity; whether:

Financial, Emotional, Mental, Social, and Spiritual Adversity are all rampant amidst current pandemic challenges! We should choose to embrace adversity, the process to our own success.

Here's why:

✅ Self Awareness

✅ Patience

✅ Resilience

✅ Relationships

✅ Knowledge

Resilience is an asset when it comes to managing adversity because it helps us to overcome it. In order to move from a place of simply surviving in life to a place of thriving, resilience is a necessary trait. At a basic level resilience is our ability to bounce back from tragedies and difficulties we encounter in life.
