Is marriage Obsolete?

Join in our discussion tonight as we discuss if marriage is obsolete?  Once upon a time when things were much different when women did not have the same rights as men or financial options marriage appeared to be more of a necessity. Are there now less benefits to marriage? Some might say marriage means commitment and monogamy?  If that is true then can you not have commitment and monogamy without marriage?  With 50% of marriages ending in divorce is leads us with the question has marriage become Obsolete?
