The Saudis want to put natural gas into Europe via a pipeline; however, they are cut off by the country of Syria. The Obama squandered our victory in Iraq. Now Iraq and Iran are Sheites. The country of Syria is blocking the Saudi's from running their natural gas pipeline into Turkey and then into Europe. So the Saudis would have to ship their gas another way which makes it much more expensive for them.
