J is the Youngest Letter of the Alphabet

The letter J is about 500 years old and is not a part of the Greek, Hebrew or Latin alphabet. The '&' which is a combination of the letters e and t is about 2,000 years old. The oldest letter is "O" which has been with us for about 3000 years.
