Welcome....you've arrived at "Our Black News," a place for conversations about news, politics, education, business, VOTE 2020 and healthcare focused on the Black American community (this means all y'all). This week, cohosts Don Allen and Jonathan Mason welcome north Minneapolis businessman and GOP candidate for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district Mr. Lacy Johnson to our airwaves.

The question we present is one that’s been side-stepped for many years: “Can a republican candidate in Minneapolis win CD5?” The other question: “Can any MNGOP candidate defeat congresswoman Ilhan Omar?”

Today’s program will hopefully answer those questions, plus we talk about the protest at the governor’s mansion, COVID-19 stress in the Black community, and also, where is our Black leadership in the Twin Cities (not that it bothers us at this point, it’s just how it’s been)?
