Pageant Verite - The Real Miss ALLIANCE 2012

I wish that I could say that Miss America changed my life in the way that so many women have been positively affected through this organization. How it has changed lives and opened doors. I got this far, only to have my dream taken from me. No one will ever know the pain I experienced by not being able to continue that dream and compete for Miss Nebraska, and my ultimate goal of becoming Miss America. 

I hope my story will be able to provide material for your show, and in raising awareness about these issues and being open about my experience it will help me to move forward. Someday I will probably write a book about my experience. Until then I hope to get my story out and gain closure.
