Synopsis: Year 1993.  Teen Tim comes home, fuming, demanding

                   to know the reason for both his horrid treatment at high school and

                  inability to "Act Normal".  With patience, his mom consoles him and eventually

                 reveals his diagnosis.

Context:  Another case of fact and fiction intermingling.  Mom and I did

                eventually have that pivotal conversation she’d, for some reason,

                been waiting to initiate when I was older.  But it came shortly after

                I nearly ended up in psychiatric care due to suicidal ideation from the

                impact of those negative experiences.  Thank goodness she was there to

               talk me back down to earth in the hospital waiting room.
