About the Florida Association of ACOs:

The Florida Association of ACOs is a community of Accountable Care Organizations within Florida that come together regularly to share ideas and best practices. Our goal with this community is to help member ACO’s build and manage successful organizations in order to fully benefit from the changing payment models.
 
We'll learn more about ACO activity in Florida, how FLAACOS supports its membership and get a sense for the competitive landscape in the State, and what this may say about the national ACO movement.
 
According to State Health Facts for 2012 Florida Medicare Advantage market share is 11th nationally at 34.3%. It remains to be seen how MSSP or other iterations of Medicare based ACOs wlll participate in the Florida market.
