Kati Rausch is a German girl from Finland. She is an actress, stand-up comedian and music TV host. She grew up in a VW bus on the journey through Europe, because her parents were hippies, before they became civil servants. Her father was a guitar player, who became a teacher in the later years. She spent the main part of her childhood in Paris and in different small cities in Northern Germany. Due to this past she is fluent in German, English, Finnish, Danish and French. Kati Rausch studied film science and theology in Germany, and wrote her thesis about Lars von Trier. After graduating from a drama school in Cologne, she appeared as a lead on some short films and music videos, before she landed her first leading roles in major productions, and got her own prime time show on National TV in Finland.
