S05/E28: "Why Do Conservatives Fear & Loathe Feminism So Much?"

Conservatives tend to hate what they have no understanding of.

Fear breeds contempt. Contempt breeds loathing. Loathing breeds hate. This is who conservatives truly are.

They are not good people. They believe, and wrongly so, that they are entitled and should be looked up on as classy and what others not like them should aspire to become. They worship wealth and affluence. They participate in group think and not independent of rational thought nor ideas on their own. They say one thing but do another thing. They hide behind religion and the Bible (King James version mostly) and think people not like them should "know their place". Women suffer because of this vile group think especially. They defend the status quo. In an ever changing world, Patriarchy is frowned upon with great disdain. And, instead of changing and adapting to the times, they rather remain stuck in the past of what America was. 

How can hearts and minds be changed from this toxic thinking? When will some in America change with the times? A woman can have both a career and be a mother if she decides that is what she wants to do with her life. The days of women being barefoot, uneducated and pregnant is over. Women are excelling in every non-traditional job types. Why does it scare conservatives (White conservative men especially)? Will America ever have true equality between men and women?
