Meet Jennifer Givens. MAHRM, USN Veteran Membership Program Manager

Jennifer Givens is a proud Navy Veteran who served 9 years in the U.S. Navy as an engineer. In her career she commissioned USS Gridley DDG 101, and served aboard the USS Howard DDG 86, USS Momsen DDG 92, and taught at South West Regional Maintenance Center. In her 9 years, she completed 3 deployments supporting Operation Iraq Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Anti-piracy Anti-Terrorism missions. Upon leaving service, she attended the University of San Diego where she graduated with a Bachelors in Communication and
completed her Masters in Human Resource Management at National University. She quickly found that her passion lies in non-profits focused on serving our nations veterans. She is currently the Membership Program Manager at Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial where she assist in marketing, events, fundraising, and membership. In her spare time, she volunteer for the Foundation for Women Warriors using her military transition experience to assist other transiting female veterans to find their next mission. She is also an active member of the Navy League San Diego.
