A time of insight, reflection, and renewal.
This week you have an opportunity to catch special guest: Dr, Eddie Taylor - Psychologist, author, educator. Dr. Taylor will address the plight of Blacks in America in the wake of the past presidential election, with a special focus on the damage African Americans have done, and are doing, to themselves and what can be done about it. We will delve into the research he has done on this topic through a review of his latest book ("The Day the Crabs Got Out: The Revival of Black America"). This will be part of a series whereby Dr. Taylor will participate in a panel of social service organizational (eg., fraternities, sororities, churches, etc.) leaders to address this issue. Mr. Kevin Porter - community activist/leader, author, and educator will join in to facilitate this discussion. This educational experience will be especially helpful for students. Don't miss it!
