Episode 13 – Veterans day Celebration: Honoring Our Veterans. Your host: Brian Lee & Jerry Prince.

Join us Friday, November 11th from 9pm to 11pm EST as we honor the Veterans, the men and women who have made the commitment to serve in our nation’s military.  Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was originally set as a U.S. legal holiday to honor the end of World War I, which officially took place on November 11, 1918. Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day–a common misunderstanding, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Memorial Day (the fourth Monday in May) honors American service members who died in service to their country or as a result of injuries incurred during battle, while Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans–living or dead–but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
