Join us Sunday, November 13th from 7pm to 9pm EST as we will be discussing the topic of abuse and neglect within foster homes.  Our guest this evening; Julia Thompson, at age 7 and with her four younger siblings were placed into foster care. Three years later, Julia and her siblings were adopted by the foster parents. Sounds like a great story, right? Sadly, that was all but true... While everything looked wonderful to the world around them, but what happened behind closed doors wasn’t as it appeared. Julia at the time didn’t have the courage to speak out and push cps to listen until her adoptive foster parents were granted a new foster license... Now, she is standing up for what’s right and cps still won’t listen. They still turn a blind eye and ignore everything. Julia is asking for the public’s help in sharing her story with everyone to bring awareness to the abuse and neglect that does go unnoticed by the system that is supposed to protect children.
