Girls and Women are at Risk

Be advised that girls and women are at risk in the U.S. and around the world!

AEquitas' (|'ekwitäs|; EH-qui-tahs) mission is to improve the quality of justice in sexual violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and human trafficking cases by developing, evaluating, and refining prosecution practices that increase victim safety and offender accountability.

AEquitas hosts several training events, including: an Institute on the Prosecution of Human Trafficking; Institutes on the Prosecution of Domestic Violence, I and II; Institutes on the Prosecution of Sexual Violence, I and II; the Prosecution of Sexual Assault in P.L. 280 Jurisdictions; and Prosecuting Domestic Violence Homicides.

With the support of Ozioma Egwuonwu, Nigerian born educator and founder of BurnBright International, LLC, we will also begin a discussion about the girls kidnapped in Nigeria. #BringBackOurGirls
