What if I told you EVERYTHING YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW about family, commitment, love and sex was wrong?

We'd probably get in a big fight and you wouldn't believe me. You'd say it was my upbringing or that I was bitter or a backslidden Christian, or that maybe I had been talked into the wrong kind of relationship by the wrong man. Maybe you have an idea that bad things only happen to OTHER people, not to good girls or whatever you consider yourself.

Or maybe, like most of the women I know on Facebook, you understand the "lost cause" of parenting in a world where, not only do you have to do it all alone, but someone is there behind the scenes working against you to make your difficult life THAT MUCH harder and to mess up the future for your children. Does that sound like an overly jaded view of reality?
